Brief introduction of industrial projects and smaller applications based on Multibeam system. All applications are heavy duty solutions for heavy loads and robust use. All the projects are designed to use mainly Multibeam stock parts.

Pedestrian bridge

Temporary Näkinsilta, a part of Kruunusillat infrastructure project, is the first public project with Multibeam in 2022. Multibeam was used in the 140 meters long pedestrian bridge frame as pre-installed modules to form a fully covered pedestrian bridge, that had load bearing capacity requirements including 0-area wind resistance, full snow load and pedestrian infrastructure requirements including disabled pathway tolerances. The installation process of the frames was done above six lane road with very short traffic stops for minimum impact in traffic for the main route to Helsinki central area.

The bridge was designed and implemented as EXC3 class project. Project was succesfully executed 2022-2023.

Rolling stand

Multibeam frame was implemented for artist Käärijä tour in Europe, for quick and efficient application to roll in venues. The project aimed to save transportation costs and time building up the show, and was succesfully executed in October 2024.

Crank tower

Multibeam Finland was challenged to design a prototype for bearing a roof/floor in an industrial property, that was undergoing structural capacity upgrade. With the Multibeam towers the client was able to hydraulically lift the roof up to 105 tons per tower to release the tension of big steel truss beams up to 30 meters span and weld reinforcements to the meanwhile the roof was laying on Multibeam towers. The towers are designed with stock parts, except the joint attachment for the lifting area. Project was succesfully executed in May-August 2024.
